This cuts so deep, having been in some of the same places in my mind. I’ve wondered what the Shades are like, do we know when we tread the same path as them, do we feel their life as we walk through them? A different take to your brilliant premise, but coming from a similar thought process.
Definitely coming from a similar thought process, that's why I tried to illustrate the silhouettes showing up in pretty mundane places. I know my darkest thoughts often spring up over small demoralizing things adding together more than big, in-your-face moments, so I'd be leaving my traces in really common spaces.
